TREAT YOUR TOENAIL FUNGUS SAFELY AND PAINLESSLY
with the new PinPointe FootLaser
How does the laser work?
This patented laser is specially designed to shine through your toenail and destroy the specific pathogens embedded in and under your nail causing the infection. The FootLaser operates in the very tight spectrum of near infa red light.
Is this laser painful?
There is no discomfort associated with the gentle laser light beam during or after your treatment. The laser does not harm healthy tissue or affect your activity in any way. A feeling of warmth or tingling is how patients describe the sensation.
Does it really work?
In the first clinical study, earlier this year, 88% of the treated patients grew out a normal looking nail after one treatment. After the one treatment, the nail plate should grow out normally in 6-12 months if there is a healthy nail bed. This result is better than the success rate for the pill, Lamisil, which you take for three months with some risks and side effects. We have performed over 8,000 successful treatments.
Is this treatment safe?
Yes! In clinical studies there have been NO adverse reactions, injuries, disabilities or known side affects associated with laser treatment. Unlike oral medications on the market today for fungal toenails, there are NO risks to the liver or kidneys. There are no age or health restrictions or limitations.
Can I walk after the treatment?
Yes - the treatment does not harm you in any way. You will be able to put on your shoes and walk out of the office, just as well as you walked in.
How Long Does the Treatment Take?
On average, it takes 30-40 minutes for all 10 toenails. The vast majority of our patients require only one treatment.
Does my insurance pay for this?
Because this treatment is considered aesthetic, health insurance plans do not cover this treatment. We accept major credit cards, cash, or you may use your Flexible Spending Account from work. We also offer an interest free payment plan through Care Credit in which payments are about $52 a month.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is a free initial consultation with the doctor to see if you are a candidate for the treatment.
If you elect to have the laser treatment after your consultation, the treatment fee ranges from $299-$998 depending upon the number of toes infected and severity of the infection. If the nails are slow to respond with normal nail growth, some of the nails may need another laser treatment and if a second treatment is needed there is no charge.
Why haven't I heard about this before?
This is NEW laser technology and has only recently become available to the public. Dr. Wolpa is one of the first doctors to use this technology and has performed more successful tratments than any other doctor in California.
Actual photos after 6 months of treatment. Results may vary.
As the leading provider of the Pinpointe laser treatment in California, we are so confident that we can eradicate your toenail fungus that we guarantee at least an 80% improvement with just one treatment, or we will do a second treatment for Free!
How can we do this?
In performing thousands of treatments since the laser was first introduced in 2009, Dr.Wolpa and his staff have refined the laser technique. This refined technique along with our after care maintenance program has increased our success rate significantly.
Within 6 months of your initial treatment the doctor will evaluate the results from your initial treatment. If there is less than 80% improvement, we will do a second treatment on the involved toe(s) for free.
*Guarantee began August 1, 2012 and applies to initial treatments performed after that date.
Testimonials from our patients:
"Dr. Dean always encouraged his listeners to try the FDA approved Pinpointe laser for toenail fungus."
- Dr. Dean Edell's producer, "Nurse Heather"
"At 63 I had given up on all treatment for my toenail fungus that I had contracted at age 20. So for over 40 years I've tried having my nail removed and used topicals, tried Lamisil twice, used thymol solutions under the nail and a tea tree oil solution. Nothing worked until the laser, which is totally painless. Thank you!
- Stewart S., Walnut Creek, Ca.
"I could not believe my eyes! Slowly I can see my nice nails grow back. I am so happy!"
- Ria B., Concord, Ca.
"After several years of treatments with little or no success, I decided to give the laser method a try. The results have been great, with improvements I did not expect to see so soon. I am very satisfied with the simplicity of the process and the outcome I have received."
- Nicholas P., Lafayette, Ca.
"I tried all kinds of treatment before so I was skeptical the laser would work. After a few months I am starting to see my nails grow in clear for the first time! It really works!"
- Claire W., Berkeley, Ca.
"I had a fungal infection in my toenails and I had tried everything from herbs, vinegar treatments, nail lacquers, external nail creams etc. Nothing had worked and I was told by my primary care physician that my only choice left was to take the oral medication. I did not want to take the pills due to the side effects. When I saw the advertisement for laser treatment for fungal toenails I decided to give it a try, and I am very happy with the results. I started seeing the change in my toe nails the very first month. At the end of the three months my toe nail was clear and the chipped nail with the fungus was gone. Dr. Wolpa is an excellent foot doctor and he thoroughly explains the treatment. I am very happy with the results. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who is suffering with toenail fungus."
