There are hundreds of the less fortunate who are forced to wear the same pair of socks for days or weeks at a time due to hardships.

For those with diabetes, impaired circulation, or neuropathy, this can lead to serious foot infections which may result in the loss of a limb or even one’s life.

Most of us view putting on a clean pair of socks as a daily habit , but to these needy individuals putting on a clean pair of socks is a luxury that may even prevent a debilitating complication.

Last year we collected over 300 pairs of socks that were distributed to shelters in the Bay Area, this year our goal is to surpass that number.

We are collecting new socks for all age groups, including children. We will once again distribute them to shelters through out the San Francisco Bay .
